Tripoli 2025 Annual Election of Directors

I am pleased to share the results of the 2025 election of Tripoli directors announced at this year's annual meeting. We had one incumbent, Gerald Meux, volunteer as a candidate to continue his service on the board for another term. Additionally, Neal Baker, Art Applewhite, Christopher Nilsen, Lex Kuehn, Randy Ashley, Chris Hobbs, Robert Klenke, Paul Williams, Carsten Franke, Ken Overton, and Mike Candell also submitted as candidates. At the conclusion of the Call for Candidates we only had two candidates for three open seats. However, after extending the deadline for a week we received overwhelming support from the folks listed above. They stepped forward and volunteered to serve in a leadership role. This was the greatest number of candidates in recent years, which is remarkable. Thank you to all who volunteered to serve, and please try again! Your support is invaluable.

In a similar vein, please also extend thanks to our two outgoing directors, Dave Rose and Steve Shannon, who have served on the Board for many years. While opting not to run again this year, they continue to serve as leaders and mentors to the organization.

This year's successful candidates are Gerald Meux, Neal Baker, and Ken Overton. Full results are available on this page, and at the link to our voting system as shown.

It's worth noting that of 8,559 eligible voters, 1,399 ballots were cast for a participation rate of 16.3%, the highest number of voters ever. As our membership continues to grow, so does the work for the Board of Directors and the committees that support them. It is encouraging to see new candidates each year - all are encouraged to volunteer as candidates again next year.

Thank you to all members who demonstrated their support by volunteering to serve as directors, and to each of you who participated by voting in the annual election.
