Annual Meeting of Tripoli Rocketry Association

At 7 pm Central Daylight Time, Saturday, August 1, 2020, the Tripoli Rocketry Association will hold its Annual Meeting. The Annual Meeting is required by our Bylaws and the laws of the State of Alaska, where TRA is incorporated. Past Annual Meetings have been “in-person” events held during the banquet at LDRS. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic that’s not possible this year. Instead, the Annual Meeting will be a brief online webcast where the financial status of our non-profit corporation will be reported and the results of the election will be announced. The new directors will take their places and the outgoing directors will be thanked for their service. There may be an opportunity for members to ask questions and then the meeting will be adjourned, but the webcast will continue.
Immediately after adjourning the Annual Meeting, a Special Meeting of the Board of Directors will be called for election of officers as stipulated by our Bylaws. Officers for the coming year will be seated for the following offices: President, Vice-president, Treasurer, and Secretary. That meeting will be adjourned and the webcast will end.
The webcast will be recorded for later access by members.
An email will be sent to all members of the Tripoli Rocketry Association. It will contain the link where members can go to login to the meeting. Please be sure and delete any default name of email address and enter your own name and address when logging in.

Please put that email address into your contacts list or spam filter approved address list so it makes its way to your inbox. We recently sent an invitation to over 4000 members to attend an online webcast and it appears that many people never received the invitation. We don’t want a repeat of that this time.
